Money Follows the Person program

The Greater Boston Chapter of United Spinal Association has signed onto a letter (below) expressing support for a five-year extension of the Money Follows the Person program and of what are known as “spousal impoverishment protections", which protect the the spouse of a person who receives long-term services and supports (LTSS) through Medicaid from having to use up all their assets in order to maintain their spouses’s Medicaid eligibility.
