Berkel Bike Pro 2021: $5000

Get outside on your bike and move your legs!!

The Berkel Bike is a unique, therapeutic hand-crank tricycle designed to help paraplegics get back on their bike and use their legs! Designed and built in the Netherlands, it features leg cranks to allow full leg pedaling motion to people whose legs are paralyzed. Includes electric assist and battery. This tricycle has an eight speed, internal hub gear system, and disc brakes. The stationary mounting system (see photo) allows for indoor training and is included. This bike has used it very lightly. The current list price is $9550. Will sell for $5000. I’m selling it because I have switched my focus to adaptive mountain biking and don’t have room for both bikes!

Also available is Berkel Bike’s Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) system, which triggers leg muscle contraction that synchronizes each leg’s pedal stroke. The FES system includes the control box and pre-wired bike shorts (size L) that assure that the electrodes are in the proper place. The FES was purchased for $7200. 2018 Permobil F5 vs base (stander): $500 OBO

THIS WAS THE OWNERS DAILY CHAIR FOR THE PAST 5 YEARS. Armrests are quite new and therefore in perfect condition. Happy to include a BRAND NEW FULL ROHO CUSHION IF NEEDED FOR AN EXTRA 100 DOLLARS. THE CHAIRS SEAT IS 16 INCH WIDE. I am 6 foot tall, and it fit me fine. The back rest is very supportive (wrap-around). The wires for the light kit are broken, but could easily be fixed. Will include the original charger that is slightly taped up, but works perfectly well. Batteries were changed less than two years ago. Standing feature works great!! Happy to provide additional information and measurements if it helps.
