Conceivable is a children’s book inspired by David Lowy, written by Tom Salvemini, and illustrated by Ed Turner. Conceivable tells the story of a person with a spinal cord injury participating in activities that to some may seem inconceivable. The story demonstrates how conceivable it is for someone with a spinal cord injury to participate in all kinds of activities.
In addition to celebrating with us and sharing in the launch of Conceivable, we are also asking you to consider donating to SCIboston to help individuals overcome their life-altering injuries and empower them to achieve their goals.
Your donation enables us to continue offering programs to the SCI community that support our ongoing mission to reach, inspire, support, and empower individuals with spinal cord injuries and their family members. The funds raised at this event will continue to support our longstanding programs, including 1:1 Peer Mentoring, Support Groups, Education Programs, Social Events, resources, and more.
David's message to others is that, "If you can conceive of doing something challenging or difficult, then you can and will do it!"
