Join us for the ADA 30: a call for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion on Wednesday, July 22, 2020.
BCIL and the City of Boston Mayor’s Commission on Persons with Disabilities are hosting a virtual ADA rally on Wednesday, July 22 at 1:00. Information is forthcoming on the platform on which you’ll log in.
We will proclaim disability rights with a focus on equity, diversity, and inclusion!
Among guest speakers is longtime disability rights activists Judy Heumann, Courtland Townes III and Sandy Ho. Pre-recorded messages on the ADA have been lined up from Governor Baker, Congresswoman Pressley, Mayor Walsh, and Attorney General Healey, among others. To help bring us all together we are mailing out ADA 30 T-shirts and fill-in-the-blank civil rights signs to interested people to post to social media with the hashtag #ADA30Boston.
